Look familiar?

Best quest ever.

Imamu Swats Some Flies.

I logged on last night just to check my auctions, but right when I get on, I got the call from the guild to go help in Arathi Highlands. Wtf was there, I thought. Well, a bunch of pvp is what, so of course I got there as soon as possible.

The Alliance had pushed everyone back into Hammerfall when I arrived. They had a 60 mage, 60 warrior, 58 warlock, and a smattering of below 50s. We had Imamu: 54 shaman, Kraftdinner: 52 rogue, Girth: 52 warrior, Raized: 40 something priest, and Smokybones: 40 something hunter.

After we killed the mage a few times, she left, and I focused on this warrior here. We tussled many times, but he needs to work on his strafing a bit, as I was able to run circles around him and take him down more often than not.

See? Though in his defense, he seemed to go afk in the middle of this fight. Odd.

Soon we had pushed them back to Refuge Pointe. Here we are during one of the lulls in the action.

Me goofing with that warlock before I flagged again. This guy was tough to kill, he'd hang out by the guards and load up the DoTs. Those DoTs are lethal.

Eventually all but a few lvl 20s left, so while waiting to see if someone else would show up, I decided to have some fun. During this I had a warlock and warrior, both in their 30s, attack me. They hid in town and tried to pick me off from afar. As you can tell from the pic, I'm not much afraid of the guards, so I rushed into town and took em out. And they thought they were safe.

Eventually this 60 pally showed up, and we had some good fun fighting, but then his 60 rogue buddy showed up, and they decided to camp our corpses. Cheapening it all, and taking away the fun.

So Luvincius (Girth's 60 warlock) summoned an Infernal on them. lol

All in all this was a bunch of fun, with many deaths to each side, I think we were pretty even despite being outnumbered (very outnumbered when ya add guards). The Alliance were good sports until those two decided to corpse camp. Dropping a Fire Nova Totem and having the resulting explosion kill those lvl 20s was fun.

Imamu Learns Something....

...When you are level 54, in a battleground full of 60s, no matter now insignificant you are, no matter what other threats are there, the opposing team will kill you first.

Yeah, I tried to so some BG tonight, my first time in the 51-60 bracket. I was expecting to get creamed, but man, the way the horde performed tonight was wholly depressing. I was involved in four battles, and lost 3 of them.

This first shouldn't count, for me atleast, since I joined just long enough to load then see the defeat screen.

The second battle was great. Back and forth with really good teamwork all around. I even solo killed a few lvl 60s, when my computer wasn't freezing every few minutes. This was the battle we won, and it felt like we earned it, none of the 5 minute win crap, this was a real battle.

The last two were horrible. No one listened, and no one stayed together, the alliance won both 3-0. By that time it was past my set time to log off and do other things, so the night ended on a sour note.

Weeeeee.

Ouch.

Wish I had pictures of what that Paladin was usually doing - shielding and running away.

Backup? Thought not. The fact that the lvl 54 was one of the only ones to reach the flag says enough.

When a lvl 54 (me) is the top ranked person on your team, the 9 others being lvl 60, you know you are fucking up somewhere.

Imamu Been Busy, Part II

What was I.....wow, I was lvl 44 when I last posted. Things have changed a bit. I'm lvl 53 now, a little bit from 54, which I'll get tonight. I've done a bunch of stuff, but nothing extremely noteworthy. Well, I guess taking a 4 man group of 49-52 through a Maraudon Princess run with no wipes is pretty noteworthy, also got my much coveted sheild on that run. Anyway, here are some pictures.

Killing the big boss of Uldaman. Our very first try he wiped us....well, him and all the things we wakes up wiped us. Since then, though, we've done farm runs on him getting guildies some gear. He's a pushover now.

Exploring.

Killing Princess on my first trip into Maraudon. Obviously this isn't that four man group I told you about. This group had high 50s, and a 60, and it wasn't as good as my guild 4 man team. This group wiped on Landslide too, whom we plowed with 4, less powerful people. Anyway, she's hot.

Here we are trying to get Emma killed.

Taking one for the team.

The start of one of the funnest fights I've had in WoW. It's an all out battle.

Action and Excitement!

Awesome shot of some fighting in Burning Steppes. I love this zone.

Only shot I have of that awesome 4 man maraudon group I have. We were heading to complete the staff what lets you enter Inner Maraudon, where the Princess and other goodies are.

Last pic for now. Notice the snazzy new interface. Also, Wonder Woman kicks your ass.

More to come, with increased frequency. Newer posts will probably be smaller too, since I wont be covering ten levels in one.

Imamu Been Busy.

Bunch of stuff has happened. Most importantly, I'm lvl 44 now, ranked a Scout, and have my Raptor mount. Here's some random pics of the last few days.

What defense?

Imamu and Chroma do Wailing Caverns.

Foraging herbs can be quite dangerous. Later found out that this guy can hit me for 1137 damage.

Me and some guildmates gonna go kill stuff. Morning and I chose the sports model, while Don chose the SUV.

Dude's got some pandas.

Imamu and Chroma do Blackfathom Deeps.

When Imamus attack.

Imamu and Chroma do Tarren Mill.

I did some exploring. Place is scary.

Imamu Watches People Die.

In the past couple of days I've seen people do some stupid stuff. The best examples of this are the PvP ones. I have here two of such examples.

Such as this one I witnessed while on the way to the Scarlet Monastery. On the run I saw a pvp flagged 36 gnome mage heading there as well. I contemplated attacking, but decided not to, as there were usually higher level Alliance around that would come to his aid. This didn't stop the two Undead players, though.

If you haven't noticed, the attacking Rogue is lvl10.

This guy attacked without hesitation, and followed the Gnome for a distance. The gnome seemingly didn't take notice. Then the Rogue's lady friend started in. She was also lvl10. They ran after him for quite a bit, then the gnome stopped and looked at them. They didn't run away or anything, completely unaware of the danger they faced. As their chance to get away had come and gone, the Gnome decided to swat these flies that annoyed him so.

They dropped incredibly fast. It was hard to get any screenshots.

With the annoyance gone, the gnome went about his business. What we can learn from this is, don't attack shit that can kill you and your girlfriend with one spell.

The next example is my favorite so far. This took place in Gadgetzan, while a couple of duels were going on. A Human lady was dueling an Orc, and she won, which usually means when the loser is a few hits away from death, the duel ends. This case was the same, except the orc was PvP flagged, and the Human didn't stop hitting him. Since we were in the middle of town, the guards didn't take to kindly to that, and they destroyed the already weakened Human.

After this display you'd think everyone has learned to not attack other players while in the middle of a town. Apparently one Dwarf Paladin was too dense for this to take effect, and charged the Orc, thus sending the guards after him.

Haha! Is right.

Run little Dwarf, run!

Just another day on the job for the Bruisers. Don't be a dumbass like this guy, or the others, pick your fights wisely.

Imamu Kills Giants.

A slower day today. Mainly made cash, but also did some more pvp, explored, and killed a couple giants. The day was off to a good start, as I barely made it onto the boat as it left port.

It was quite the close call.

After this I went fishing for some Deviate fishies. It's amazing what people you can meet while fishing.

He's so proud.

After catching 20 more Deviates, I went to check out the artisan cooking quest. I got sidetracked and decided to do a little exploring. During such explorations I found a lvl61 elite monster....

...And I made him angry. This happens when you try to cast a spell on it.

Ouch.

Not even a thank you. This relationship isn't going to work out.

More exploring.

Done with that, I helped Rob go through Ragefire Chasm. It took all of ten minutes and got Rob a bunch of goodies.

PWND!!!!@

Also did some more PvP. Once again I ruled. First battle I joined was hopeless....there were no groups, and the alliance steamrollered it. I joined in the last five minutes, too late to do anything helpful. The next two battles, though, we reigned supreme. They couldn't escape my defense, and our flag runner couldn't be stopped.

Flawless Victory. Yes I captured a flag while defending. I was on the phone too. I'm awesome. Did the same thing in the second battle for the win.

To end my night, me, and a couple of others (one guildmember) killed a few giants. One being Fozruk, whom I've wanted to kill since I first saw him.

I think he suspects me.

He was tough, killing us the first go round. But after we knew what he could do, he went down easily. Notice Znort's actions in the chatbox.

After Fozruk, we had to kill his buddy, who was a lot easier. We had to kill him three times, once for each party member.

And with that, I called it a night. Hopefully tomorrow I will be ranked as a scout, and be very close to getting my mount. We shall see.
